Veteran AirSofters - Team Stealth Ops Technical Advisers
The first game plan of this series is “Operation: Robin Sage I” scheduled on Saturday, January 9, 2010 at the Mt. Maarat – San Mateo, Rizal. “Operation: Robin Sage” is an AirSoft war game on a notional situation of unconventional warfare. The participants will come from various AirSoft Clubs nationwide that will be organized into light infantry company, and will choose their team allegiance as invasion force (INFOR) or insurgent group, resistance force (RF). Both units will be commanded by veteran military personnel from the Special Forces Regiment (Airborne) and Light Reaction Battalion of the Special Operations Command, Phil. Army. The light infantry company will be the counter-guerilla force of the invading forces whereas the remnants of the armed forces of the invaded country and the insurgent group shall be the guerilla force. In every unconventional scenario, the objectives shall be accomplished within the prescribed window time and the playing unit earns corresponding points on every captured live enemy ranking personnel as well as on every recovered item as required in their respective mission. There will be 2 test missions and several tactical stations which if successfully accomplished will correspond to different points that will be tallied to determine the winner of this series.
II. NOTIONAL SITUATION
COCOLAND is a notional country in the Far East Asia that comprises 7,100 islands and islets. A democratic form of government exists in the country but for almost three decades COCOLAND is burden with insurgency problem. Henceforth, the full force of its military is being utilized to confront the local communist and secessionist insurgents. Aside from this, the country is also confronted with conflicting claims with neighboring countries over one of its oil rich island which is considered a flash point. Meanwhile, it is believed that the armed forces of COCOLAND are not capable to withstand any external aggression. Thus the strategic defense of the country is anchored mostly on strengthening the diplomatic ties with allied countries in order to gain their support in times of emergency.
Unfortunately, the negotiation between claimant countries over the disputed island failed which led to the invasion of COCOLAND. Consequently the expected support from the allied countries failed to come on time thus, the government of COCOLAND went underground and its armed forces surrendered to the invading forces. However, there are remnants of the COCOLAND armed forces that refused to surrender and went up to MT. TAKAS known to be the lair of the insurgent group under Commander MAGOS. MT. TAKAS is located along the mountain ranges of metropolis and it is a vegetated mountain with a good observation and fields of fire along its avenues of approach. It is an ideal haven for guerilla bands and it provides covered and concealed approaches to metropolis targets. The leader of the remnant force did not only gained free passage in MT. TAKAS but more so, successfully convinced Commander MAGOS to joint the Resistance Force (RF) to wage guerilla warfare or protracted peoples’ war against the Invading Forces (INFOR).
III. GAME PLAY – OPERATION: “SUYOD” & “TANGGOL-BAYAN”
Details of the actual game play will be presented to respective allied and group commanders in an actual mission briefing a week before the event. AirSoft Game clubs are now being called on to pledge their allegiance under INFOR or RF. Teams with digital pattern, brown, acupat, marpat, tactical, security contractor and similar BDUs (teams are highly recommended to be in team uniform because of team objectives and tactics) are endorsed to join the INFOR while civilian load out, snipers and green woodland pattern uniforms are recommended to join the guerillas (RF). Game directorate reserves the right to reassign teams based on game scenario requirements. Please reply to this thread with your team names, headcount, uniform patterns and planned group assignments whether INFOR or RF.

Camp Vergel, Mt. Maarat, Barangay Malanday San Mateo Rizal or MT. TAKAS, COCOLAND is the notional situation of the site. It is a haven for outdoor sports. It is the realm of mountain bikers, motor cross, and 4x4 and ATV enthusiasts. We have secured safe passage thru the private property of Progressive Development Corporation along the new C6 scenic highway - a lot of coconut, bamboo and pine trees. This site is challenging for beginners in MilSim since there’s a lot with hills and rat holes, river crossing, waterfalls and a very thick jungle area with red soil. The players will be rewarded at the end of the game with a scenic 360 degree view of Luzon at the Mt. Maarat summit.
The Public Affairs Service, AFPRESCOM and Team StealthOps operates and have developed this game site and is best located for both Northern, Southern and NCR AirSoft teams because they can pass thru Marikina, Commonwealth or thru the backdoors of Luzon via Sierra Madre and via Antipolo Rizal.
For this game play, we will be using portions of the area only with secured perimeter fence. The rest will be developed for game two of Haribon’s Quest. This is a good testing ground for your individual skills, team operational capabilities and tactical maneuvers.
MISSION
The Haribon’s Quest game concept is based on Special Forces Operation and Robin Sage 1 is based on unconventional warfare. The Resistance Force (RF) composed of the Guerrillas (Civilian like Load Out) and remnants of the defeated Armed Forces (Woodland Load Out). The Invading Force (INFOR) is composed of foreign invaders. All digital, brown, acupat, marpat, team based uniform; dessert pattern will be banded in this group. To avoid confusion of uniform categories the RF players will be banded with green tape. The INFOR side will be banded with a red tape. No tape band will be treated as deserters and will be brought back to HQ stockade.
In this game play, the RF is really going to be out numbered but will blend in the environment and act like the natives. The organizer reserves the right to re assign groups to meet the necessary game scenarios.
Game Fee: P350 (includes dinner, free drinks incl. beer, live band, and raffle) Water stations are located in strategic areas but it is highly recommended you bring your day’s hydration requirement with you once you go on your mission.

Subsequent mission orders will be secured at the site once they have accomplished their interim objective in the allotted time frames. Each mission objectives and unit officer positions have equivalent points and will be tallied at end of game. Since the INFOR teams are organized as light infantry company, they will have to observe their chain of command – Company – Platoon – Squad – Fire Teams. Since there is a chain of command, CO’s, Ex-Os Platoon Leaders will have no re-spawning privilege so succession of leadership will be in place. The lost of key officers will however be points to your enemies so guard your officers well it will continue until all missions and objectives are accomplished.
The allotted points for every captured/killed in action personnel and seized item as required by the mission are as follows:

Question: what's the ammo load out for m60 and m249?
Also what if I'm using a GBBR?
Sir, M60's and M249 usually comes on box mags so ammo cap is two (2) boxed magazine only. even fire support need to run out of ammos =) if you're using GBBR, we will stick to the combat load measurements so be ready with your re-loaders and bb bottles total should still be 350 x 3 approx 1200 bbs

I will be using a GBBR sniper rifle. Will I be able to follow the 550 FPS rule? can I bring in more than three mags? Ill probably only be bringing in 300 rounds for the whole day.

Sir as the saying goes "the rules apply to all or none at all" even GBBR sniper rifles should follow 550FPS. Only 3 mags are allowed per player, please bring your reloader and BB bottles with you. As snipers rule, 1 shot 1 kill, 300 will be more than enough to wipe out half the invading forces. Btw sir INFOR or RF? How many from your team?
